Dr. Andi Winney

Veterinarian/Veterinary Partner

Dr. Winney is that little girl who always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. After 4 years of playing college basketball, Dr. Winney attended Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. When she graduated in 2014, her dream became a reality. Dr. Winney practiced veterinary medicine in Chicago, IL for seven years before making the move to South Carolina. Dr. Winney enjoys pet wellness care, internal medicine and surgery; but most of all, she enjoys caring for people by caring for their pets.

Outside of work, Dr. Winney enjoys hiking, crossfit, cooking for friends, and exploring new parts of the world. She has a little black mutt named Ellie, a rambunctious Golden Retriever named Lemon, a pretty little kitty named Loa, and a cat who thinks he’s a dog named Rhip.

Dr. Winney is so excited to meet you and your four legged family members. The entire Ashley Pines Animal Hospital staff is excited to serve as your veterinary care team and treat your pets as our own.

Dr. Savannah Lavallee

Veterinarian

Dr. Savannah Lavallee is a graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, she earned her undergraduate degree from Western Carolina University before pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Dr. Lavallee is passionate about forming lasting relationships with her clients and their pets. She believes in advocating for her patients while delivering high-quality, personalized care. She finds deep purpose not only in caring for animals, but also in supporting the people who love them. For her, keeping a pet healthy is also a way of caring for the heart and home of the person behind that pet.

At home, she and her husband, Richard, enjoy life with their two cherished Chihuahuas, Lemon and Frisky. In her free time, Dr. Lavallee loves spending time in nature, baking, crafting, watching movies, and making memories with friends.

She’s honored to be part of the Ashley Pines Animal Hospital team and looks forward to meeting you soon! 

Dr. Dani Rozo

Veterinarian
Dr. Dani Rozo is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Florida and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Illinois, graduating with high honors in 2025.

Dr. Rozo has wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. Her childhood consisted of visits to the Jacksonville Zoo and volunteering at the local humane society. She is especially passionate about providing veterinary care to underrepresented communities, with a focus on serving clients who speak English as a second language. She values building long-term relationships with her clients through compassion, empathy, and strong communication skills. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and surgery.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Rozo enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, and discovering new restaurants with friends. She looks forward to meeting you and your pets!

Jennie

Licensed Veterinary Technician/Practice Manager

Jennie grew up just outside of Charleston, WV and relocated to this Charleston area in 2011. She graduated from Fairmont State College in 2006 with an AAS in Veterinary Technology and worked in emergency and critical care until 2020. In her spare time, Jennie spends time with her miniature horses, Cooper and Demi.

Savannah S

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Savannah was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, and recently relocated to Summerville with her family. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Trident Technical College with an AAS in Veterinary Technology on 2025. In her free time she loves to read and relax with her two dogs Oliver and Sammy.

Symone

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Symone joined the team with a decade of experience as a licensed veterinary technician. She takes great pride in maintaining a vast clinical skill set while continuously seeking opportunities to grow her knowledge.

Symone remains dedicated to the health and happiness of the local community. While she loves all our patients and enjoys interacting with a variety of animals, she has a special soft spot for guinea pigs.

When not in clinic, Symone can be found channeling her creativity into various art arts and crafts projects.

Faith

Veterinary Assistant

Faith grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and later attended college in Florida to study biology. After graduating she moved to the Lowcountry to be with family and previously worked at a wildlife conservation center as the transport and rescue coordinator.

She is passionate about providing care for animals and has plans to attend Trident Technical College to obtain a Veterinary Technician certification. In her free time she likes to read and play video games.

Hannah

Veterinary Assistant

Hannah was born and raised here in the Lowcountry. Hannah has always wanted to work with animals ever since she was young, and grew up with all kinds of farm animals. Hannah has seven years of experience in veterinary medicine as a Veterinary Assistant!

She looks forward to continuing her education in veterinary medicine, and in her spare time she spends time with her husband and son, and takes care of their farm animals (horses, goats, chickens, and dog “Moose”).

Savannah

Veterinary Assistant

Savannah is originally from the Lowcountry, but has lived in Washington and Germany. Savannah joined our team in October 2024, and is a Certified Veterinary Assistant. She has two and a half years of general practice experience and is currently enrolled in Penn Foster’s Veterinary Technology program. 

Savannah enjoys learning, has a special interest in surgery, and is passionate about elevating the client experience by providing compassionate care to pets!

Kim

Veterinary Assistant

Kim is originally from Texas and has been in the veterinary field since 2016. Most of her experience has been in general practice, but  she has a strong interest in oncology.

She lived in the Charleston area from 2015-2019 and recently moved back in May 2025 with her husband, two daughters, five dogs, and four cats. She has a soft spot for the old dogs and she loves reading, collecting houseplants, traveling, hiking, biking and the being on the water.

Chris

Veterinary Assistant
Chris is originally from Connecticut where he started his journey in veterinary medicine. Chris began volunteering at a general practice when he was a teen in 2004. Most of Chris’ experience has been in emergency, critical care, and neurology/neurosurgery. Chris moved to the Charleston area in 2022. When not at work, Chis spends quality time with his bloodhound, two cats, and daughter. Chris also loves anything outdoors, baseball, live music, and traveling.
